Empowering Tomorrow's Innovators: NeoCity Academy Students Tour X-MAT and X-BATT Labs

At X-MAT and X-BATT, we believe in nurturing the next generation of innovators and problem solvers. That's why we were thrilled to welcome students from NeoCity Academy for a morning of exploration and learning. As part of our ongoing commitment to education and community engagement, we opened our doors, offering them a glimpse into the world of advanced materials and battery technology.

The highlight of the day was the lab tours, where the students were divided into groups to explore different aspects of our work. One lab tour focused on building materials and high-performance plastics, while the other focused on battery research and development. Led by experts in their respective areas, the tours offered a firsthand look at our state-of-the-art facilities and the wide breadth of material science that we experience on a day-to-day basis.

In the battery lab, students learned about the intricate processes involved in battery materials research, from material synthesis to cell assembly and testing. They even had the opportunity for hands-on learning, participating in half-cell assembly of coin cells that are commonly used in the industry.

 We were inspired by the enthusiasm and passion of the students from NeoCity Academy. It was a pleasure to share our knowledge and expertise with the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators. We look forward to continuing to support and inspire young minds as they continue their journey of discovery and learning.
